WordPress Website Development

WordPress websites with custom themes, sensible plugins and a clean editor your team can actually use.

WordPress is a good fit when several people need to publish content and you want a familiar editor. The difference between a good and a bad WordPress site is mostly restraint: a lightweight theme, a short list of maintained plugins, and content types that match how your business actually works.

I build new WordPress sites, customise existing themes, and fix slow or broken installations.

Problems this solves

  • The site is slow because of a heavy theme and dozens of plugins
  • Updating WordPress or a plugin breaks the layout
  • Editors find the page builder confusing and keep breaking pages
  • The site was hacked or is showing spam links
  • You need a custom content type such as projects or team members

Frequently asked questions

Do you use page builders?

I prefer the native block editor with custom blocks or fields, because it is faster and harder to break. If your team already relies on a page builder, I can work within it.

Can you speed up my existing WordPress site?

Usually, yes. I measure first, then work through images, caching, plugins and hosting. I share before-and-after measurements rather than promising a specific score.
