Hindustan Power

Next.js 14 website with Payload CMS for Hindustan Power, including responsive front-end work and a stable production setup on Plesk and CloudPanel.

My role: Frontend development, Server management
Work done while employed at IIS India (Instant Info Solutions). Delivered through IIS India, where I work. The client engaged the agency, not me personally.

Overview

Hindustan Power's website runs on Next.js 14 with Payload CMS and MongoDB. The CMS back-end is deployed separately and managed with a process manager.

What I did

  • Built responsive front-end sections, including the partner logos grid
  • Stabilised the production deployment by correcting the Node.js application configuration and adding process management
  • Deployed the Payload CMS back-end on CloudPanel with PM2
  • Fixed Next.js image sizing and Suspense boundary issues

Challenges and solutions

Recurring downtime traced to server configuration rather than application code; fixed at the hosting layer and documented for future deployments.
